The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has said it lost communication with its staff in the Al Amal Hospital in the Gaza Strip's southern Khan Younis city, with internet services in the city's area out for the 72nd day in a row.
"Communication has been lost with the Palestine Red Crescent Society team at Al Amal Hospital in Khan Yunis due to the VHF (very high frequency) wireless communication wave going out of service," the PRCS said on Sunday (24 March).
Apart from that, "various land and cellular communication means" and "internet services" have been "disconnected in Khan Yunis Governorate for the 72nd consecutive day," the organization added.
On Saturday, the PRCS said that a total of 364 doctors, nurses and paramedics had been killed in Gaza since the onset of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict escalation.
