One student has been killed and two others have been seriously injured as a result of a shooting incident at a school in Finland, the Finnish police said on Tuesday (2 April).
Earlier in the day, the police said that a shooting had taken place at a school in the city of Vantaa, leaving several people injured, adding that the suspect was detained.
“A shooting occurred at the Viertola school in Vantaa resulting in the death of a sixth-grader. Two children are seriously injured,” a police spokesperson told a press conference.
