German Chancellor Olaf Scholz warned on Monday (15 April) Iran against another attack on Israel, and called on Israel to help de-escalate tensions.
"Iran's attack on Israel was unprecedented, it was something that should not have happened, it was a terrible escalation. Therefore, I want to repeat my warning once again. There should be no more such actions on the part of Iran," Scholz told a press conference in Shanghai, which was broadcast by NTV.
Israel needs to contribute to the de-escalation efforts, Scholz added.
