Ukrainian Air Force has claimed that it successfully shot down 29 Russian drones within the last 24 hours. The attacks resulted in one fatality and 13 injuries.
Additionally, Russia launched three KH-59 guided missiles during the same period. However, Ukrainian officials reported only minor damage from these strikes.
In a statement on Thursday, August 15, regional governors from Kyiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad confirmed that there were no significant casualties in the central Cherkasy region due to Russian attacks. The damage to buildings was also minimal, with only a few windows shattered.
The governor of Kherson reported that eight drones were downed in Kherson, and five were shot down in the southern region of Mykolaiv. These areas also saw various attacks leading to one death and 13 injuries. Sources: BBC
