The Mina Bazar organised by Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia at Ingleburn Community Centre in Sydney started at noon and ended at 11 pm.
The brightly decorated Meena Bazaar premises, with free entry and nearby car parking facilities, was thronged with visitors. The venue transforms into a piece of Bangladesh with festivity, stalls of various clothes, delicious foods and jewellery stalls.
Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia President Rahela Arefin and General Secretary Shireen Akhtar Munni gave a welcome speech. Ms. Priya Kataria, Manager of Ingleburn Branch, Commonwealth Bank joined as the Special Guest of honour and joined other distinguished guests such as the local Councillor and various community leaders.
The money collected from Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia's Meena Bazaar will be used to provide disposable sanitary napkins and essential health services to women and girls in Bangladesh through the Days for Girls program organised by the Ingleburn Rotary Club. In addition, donations to the Gaza Children's Fund were provided for support in Palestinian schools, health clinics, community facilities, education and clothing for women and children.
Finally, the organising committee announced the end of the program by expressing sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone present.
