Research is the result of data collected by analysing a topic or information. Research is an intellectual inquiry process.  A qualitative research paper involves several factors. For example, a research criterion prevails on the usage, application and extension of the produced research paper, normal aspects and adverse reactions to the use of the research, etc. Every sector of developing countries is research-dependent. Developing countries rely on research to lay a strong foundation.

The main purpose of research is to solve a practical problem. A country has various practical problems. Time is getting more and more modern. Then the problem is gradually increasing. And the problem is becoming visible. It is both social and technical. There is no alternative to research for a permanent solution to this problem. The first step is to identify the problem. Analysing the problem and applying the innovative results to solve the problem. In addition to solving problems through research, the practical practice of research will also increase.

Current and future development of a country depends on research. The research sector enriches the country's economy and fulfils the social capacity. The importance of research in the structural change, expansion and enhancement of the quality of education is undeniable. A sound research sector is the key tool for establishing a solid foundation for developed countries. By giving importance to the research sector, it is possible to create a different place for the country in the international environment as well as increasing the socio-economic development in the domestic economic sector.  For this, it is necessary to construct a proper research paper. There is no substitute for proper research to build a dynamic economic framework in this changing world.

Bangladesh is a country that is positively discussed in the world in terms of achieving economic growth, socio-economic development and human development indicators. To achieve Vision 2041, announced by the government by keeping these achievements, research should be given utmost importance. In addition, the research sector should be given the highest priority in the post-Corona world, along with the fulfilment of sustainable development goals and the implementation of Delta Plan-2100.

The latest annual report of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has presented information on various topics, including research of universities. The UGC says there is no substitute for quality publications to elevate education and research to international standards. In this regard, the UGC has made 14 recommendations for higher education, including giving special financial incentives to encourage teachers in quality publications, special awards for young researchers, increasing the financial amount of PhD scholarships. The report released a few days ago is based on 2022 data.

But it is a matter of regret that our students are less research-oriented than the students of the developed world. When the students of the developed world give more importance to research, the students of our country give more importance to academic education.

To survive in this competitive market of globalisation, it can be said that the preparation of appropriate research papers is a kind of mandatory. The most important thing is that the complete research culture and atmosphere have not been developed in our country. Because a large part of the talented students of our country are moving abroad for higher education after graduation, and due to the lack of a suitable research environment in the country, students are doing research abroad. Our country is not really benefiting from it. Moreover, how much of the money allocated for research is being used properly is also a big question.

It is necessary to take some steps to make the students of our country research-oriented. For this, the students should be encouraged to research their own subjects.  Organising various workshops, seminars for students to do research. To provide research scholarships for students. Organising research competitions among students. It will make students interested in research. Moreover, those who are engaged in research work should be provided appropriate allowance by the government. The money allocated for research in the national budget should be increased. Bangladesh will soon enjoy the benefits of research.
