Recently, there is a lot of discussion and criticism about the illegal wealth of a tax official in the goat purchase case of his beloved son. He has already been transferred from his post as OSD. The news of his entire family, including his son and daughter, living off of ill-gotten wealth has surprised and shocked many at home and abroad. It is being discussed in the media that not only this official but many others like him are living a careless, desperate life with money earned through illegal means. It can be seen in the social reality of Bangladesh that, in most cases, women become the owners of assets by signing the papers of their husbands or children as per the father's words. As a result, most of the females or children cannot give a good answer when asked about the illegal wealth or source of income of the husband or father. In many cases, the husband or father is forced to remain silent to save himself and is also later punished.
It can be seen that such dishonest officials are not in the normal or legal way, many of them illegally become the owners of huge wealth and huge amount of money. It can be seen that many people keep these non-income assets in the name of wife and children. Also buy property secretly in the name of wife or family members. If these things are revealed due to the crime of corruption, their names also come along with their husbands or fathers. But in many cases the wife or children have no role in corruption or that crime. In our society, after knowing about the illegal income, the wife or children cannot protest or the wife or child becomes the shield of the husband or father, they do nothing.
The best way to get fatherhood or motherhood is to raise the child as a good child. Not being able to raise as a good child is the biggest failure for parents. Therefore, it is the humane and civil responsibility of parents to raise their children as more qualified human children, as more qualified citizens of the country. Dishonest parents are also largely responsible for the misbehaviour of children. Because the overall development of their child's life is achieved by being influenced by their intelligence, income, character, and behavior. For this, the parents have to take the plan to raise the child as a good child in his childhood. According to psychologists, childhood is the dawn of life. At this time, the child's instincts, inclinations—everything is seen in the bud. So childhood is called the formative period. Childhood like raw clay can be molded by teachers and gurus as desired, which is not possible in hard soil. But if the parents are dishonest in this case, it is difficult to implement it!
Many times, such immoral crimes are committed without the knowledge of the wife and children and in some cases, the wife and children are fully aware of this and have their full consent. In some cases, however, they cannot protest even if they want to or do nothing because of the lust for wealth. In many cases, the blame for the ill-gotten gains and wealth acquired through corruption falls on innocent women or children. If there is no fault, the wife and children are treated as criminals and brought under the law to account for the illegal income and wealth and have to face punishment. In order to protect the money and wealth acquired through corruption, adopting the strategy of keeping the acquired property in the name of another family member or spouse instead of in the name of the law is considered as money laundering crime in the eyes of the law, knowing the wife and children or not. Money laundering involves the conversion or transfer of assets for the purpose of concealing or concealing money or assets obtained through illegal means.
Children become deformed and delinquent under the influence of parents. Even the perversity of the child's conscience is caused by the parents. As his parents taught him about good and bad, right and wrong in the society, his conscience is developed with that sense. From the point of view of psychology, the reason for the creation of criminal tendencies in children is that, first of all, the behaviour of parents is directly related to the criminal tendencies of children. Too much discipline, too much care, too much neglect makes the child delinquent. Excessive discipline instills rebellion in the tender mind of the child and hinders its proper development. If the individual's spontaneous desires are not satisfied in childhood, then the child becomes delinquent in the future. Secondly, if the parents are corrupt and earn dishonest money or are drunk, lascivious, it affects the children. They also get involved in various types of crimes. Thirdly, broken families are considered to be the main cause of criminality in family turmoil.
Marriage is the main stage of human life and living peacefully is the ultimate goal. Where there are the responsibilities of family life and important issues like child bearing and rearing. But the newly married couples in our country do not get the opportunity to get the minimum knowledge about married life before marriage. Young people who grew up in two different families and environments, who had been in the exuberance of youth for so long, who did not even keep track of the arrival and departure of morning and evening in their daily life, the guardians raised the bar of satisfaction by tying them in marital bonds. Meanwhile, the two lives, coming from different habits, nature, tastes, thoughts and cultures, have entered into a difficult phase of integration and fall into a great crisis under the pressure of the expectations of others in the family. As a result, marital discord becomes inevitable in most families. In such a situation, if a child comes to their home, it becomes impossible for them to raise that child to ideal standards. When those human children without ideals, deviating from the goal of life, are depressed, enter youth, then naturally, self-interested circles can use them to carry out any kind of terrorist activity. Children will marry in adulthood; they will have to become parents, so it is the parents' responsibility to instill in them a sense of maternal and paternal responsibility. That is why parents must be honest to have good children.
Good family education and religious values are of immense importance in mental development and formation of moral character. The child's education is mainly in the hands of the mother. Children get primary education from the family. As a result, the family is the first education center of the human child. A child's values, character, consciousness and beliefs are born from the family. As parents nurture ideals, their children strive to capture and nurture them. A family is like a well-tended garden filled with love and affection where each member gets ample opportunity to develop his character. Being full of moral qualities, they beautify and charm the surroundings. It is a safe haven that is able to protect the child from all external disturbances and attacks. But in this case, if the parents are used to earning money in dishonest ways, live unethically and indulge in money, then it is difficult to expect a healthy and peaceful life in that case.
There are many parents, guardians who do a lot for their children. Spending ill-gotten gains but totally ignoring the character building aspect of their children does not care at all. Boys and girls are also used to seeing themselves living reckless lives. Don't let boys and girls approach religion like themselves by talking about traditionalism and modernity! As a result, it affects every turn of children's future life. They take up all the actions that destroy the character, involved in all immoral activities. Therefore, children, like parents, need to study religious rules and books for character formation. It is very important to try to implement it in practical life. For this, the utmost importance should be given to following the religious precepts of all the family in character formation.
Every parent loves their child—no doubt about it—but it is the duty of every parent to bring up the child properly, to teach him in every aspect of life, to guide him in the right path. For this, parents need a lot of thought, study, training if needed and sincere patience. As we work, do business with more attention and time; Raising a child demands attention and time, just like a job or business. First of all, ideal parents and a favourable environment are needed to make a child an ideal human being. But if the parents are dishonest and unethical people, then it is difficult to expect good children. A man may have multiple marriages and beget children; there is no problem if he is used to living in an honest way, but if he indulges in ill-gotten money, it is definitely a cause for worry and concern. Because of this, in recent times, children are being led astray by the ill-gotten money of many parents and corrupting the society and the state system. That is why it is more important to build a good child and to lead a peaceful life than to earn money by desperate, unfair means.
