During May and June, different species of fish enter their breeding season in the sea. Consequently, a 65-day ban on fishing in Bangladesh’s waters in the Bay of Bengal began at midnight on May 20. Rather than remaining idle, fishermen are using this time to repair their nets at Akmal Ali Ghat in Chittagong.
