The ruling party Awami League has started selling its nomination for the upcoming 12th National election. About 190 forms were sold in the first hour of the party nomination sale of the ruling party. Awami League president Sheikh Hasina on Saturday (18 November) at 10.30 am officially started the sale of party nomination forms. Later, it was opened for party candidates after 11.00 am.
The first nomination form of the party was collected by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Gopalganj District Awami League president Mahmud Ali Khan and General Secretary BM Sahabuddin Azam collected the party nomination form of Gopalganj-3 constituency on behalf of PM Sheikh Hasina. After that, the central leaders also bought the party nomination form.
From 11 am to 12.30 pm, 51 party nomination forms were sold in Dhaka division, 40 in Chittagong division, 11 in Sylhet division, 15 in Mymensingh division, 11 in Barishal division, 22 in Khulna division, 17 in Rangpur division, 23 in Rajshahi division.
