BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday (12 January) said that another fake government has commenced its journey, containing dummy candidates and MPs, made-up results, and insincere oaths.
He made this remark during a press conference held at the party's in Naya Paltan central office on Friday afternoon.
"The journey of another artificial government started yesterday (Thursday) with 'dummy' candidates, voters, agents, observers, results, parliament members, and oaths in the history of Bangladesh," Rizvi said.
He said the people of the country and the democratic globe have rejected the election.
The BNP leader went on to say that the people have rejected Sheikh Hasina by boycotting the fake polls.
"Foreign newspapers, media, and political pundits are all claiming that Sheikh Hasina has built a one-party state in Bangladesh through a mock election. This is Baksal 2.0," he added.
