GM Quader, the recently elected Member of Parliament for Rangpur-3 constituency and Chairman of the Jatiya Party, has stated that the party will act as the opposition in parliament whether or not an official statement is made.
He went on to say that Obaidul Quader, the general secretary of the Awami League, frequently comments on the Jatiya Party as the opposition party.
Even though there are fewer seats, we have the most. Although we are meant to be the opposition party, neither the speaker nor the parliament have sent us a letter as of yet. But we'll act as the opposition party in the parliament whether or not we get the letter," he declared.
On Monday (22 January) afternoon, GM Quader spoke with reporters at the Skyview home in the city before going to the Bihari camp, which is situated in the Station and Gudri Bazar areas of Rangpur city.
"We have also spoken for the people in the previous parliament," he declared. This time, we'll also speak out against the mismanagement, corruption, and unrelenting increase in commodity prices coming from the government. The nation's citizens value our position as the opposition party.
