BNP leader Azad granted bail

BNP leader Nazrul Islam Azad got permanent bail from Narayanganj District and Sessions Judge Court in 2 separate sabotage cases of Araihazar police station. He is serving as the co-secretary international affairs of the party's central executive committee.

On Monday (March 18) Narayanganj Additional District and Sessions Judge Judge Umme Saraban Tahura surrendered to the court and applied for bail. The court granted bail after the hearing. No. 24 (10) 23, 16 (12) 23 of two cases filed at Araihajar police station.

At that time, Narayanganj City BNP convenor Adv Shakhawat Hossain Khan was a lawyer for Azad. Member Secretary Adv Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu, vice-president of Araihajar Upazila BNP Adv Siddiqur Rahman, District Lawyers Forum General Secretary Adv Abul Kalam Zakir also supervised with the case.

In this regard Adv Sakhawat Hossain Khan said, Additional District and Sessions Judge Judge Umme Saraban Tahura surrendered to the court and applied for bail. After the hearing, the court granted Nazrul Islam Azad's bail which lodged with Araihazar thana police station.
