Law enforcement agencies have been arrested Ex Jute Minister Golam Dostagir Gazi on Saturday (24 August) at midnight from Shantinagar,Dhaka.
However, it has not yet been confirmed for which case he has been arrested.
The Officer-in-Charge of Paltan Police Station, Molla Md. Khalid Hossain, said that he was arrested from a house in Shantinagar. To avoid arrest, he had been hiding at a relative’s house. From there, a team of DB police arrested him last night.
He is currently at the DB office. However, O.C. Khalid did not disclose the case under which he was arrested.
Earlier, a murder case was filed at the Rupganj Police Station in Narayanganj against 105 people, including Sheikh Hasina and Golam Dostogir Gazi.
