Scientists from the German University of Wurzburg are testing two of their robots and new space suits in Armenia for future flights to Mars.
The research team will stay in the village of Armash until early April, two women and four men will test new types of spacesuits and their interaction with robots in complete isolation.
The mission, called Amadee-24, involves more than 200 scientists from 26 countries. The researchers are in constant contact with a simulated control station operated by the Austrian Space Forum and the Armenian space agency.
