BASIS Welcomes New Members

BASIS held an interactive and engaging event titled “Welcome to BASIS: New Member Orientation Program” at the BASIS Auditorium on Saturday. Total 70 leading companies IT companies attended in this vibrant program. The orientation program aimed to connect new members to the larger BASIS network, sparking discussions around shared goals and strengthening our unified vision for the growth and advancement of the IT industry.

In the warm welcome address, Md. Mostafizur Rahaman Sohel, Senior Vice President, BASIS encouraged new members to actively participate in the BASIS community, emphasizing the transformative potential they bring to the technology landscape. He highlighted how BASIS is dedicated to cultivating an environment where every member can thrive, innovate, and contribute to Bangladesh’s digital evolution.

M Rashidul Hasan, President, BASIS outlined the objectives of this onboarding event, expressing BASIS EC’s deep commitment and unwavering loyalty to uphold the needs of its members as a top priority. He reaffirmed BASIS’s mission to lead the way for accelerated development in the information technology sector and passionately vowed to protect and retain the industry's collective interests, ensuring BASIS remains an empowering force in the tech community.

M Asif Rahman, Vice President (Finance), BASIS and Biplob Ghosh Rahul, Director, BASIS shared an illuminating presentation on BASIS’s journey, purpose, and offerings. They emphasized BASIS’s core mission—to drive the continuous growth of the IT sector, secure the shared interests of tech entrepreneurs, and provide unparalleled resources and services for all members. Their presentation detailed BASIS’s comprehensive support system for members, showcasing the resources, services, and industry-focused initiatives BASIS actively provides.

Furthermore, Mir Shahrukh Islam, Director of BASIS, remarked that the onboarding event provides an invaluable opportunity to connect with emerging technocrats and set collective, future-oriented goals that benefit the entire tech community.

M. Rashidul Hasan, President, BASIS conducted an insightful Q&A session, fostering a reciprocal and engaging atmosphere. This interactive segment encouraged mutual idea sharing and opened up valuable brainstorming opportunities, allowing participants to gain deep insights into the tech community.

Syed Mohammad Kamal, Vice President (Admin), BASIS, concluded the event with inspiring words, encouraging members to embrace their crucial role in the IT community and use BASIS as a platform for innovation and growth.

The program concluded with the distribution of membership certificates, followed by a memorable photo session capturing this special occasion. The entire event was expertly moderated by Biplob Ghosh Rahul, Director of BASIS.
