The Exim Bank 35th National Women's Handball Championship, organised by the Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF), began on Monday (3 June) at the Shaheed (Capt) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Dhaka.
DMD of the meet's sponsor, Exim Bank PLC Maksuda Khanam, inaugurated the meet on Monday afternoon.
Twenty three teams from different districts and service sides, split into eight groups, are initially taking part in the meet.
Six matches were decided on the opening day.
