Ongoing third day of first test in Rawalpindi Sadman Islam narrowly missed out on a century, out at 93 runs.

After a determined effort, he was bowled by Mohammad Ali, having played 183 balls and struck 12 boundaries.

While, his innings concluded just before the tea break, leaving Bangladesh's score at 199 for 4 at the end of the second session.

The day saw Sadman Islam and Mominul Haque build a significant partnership, with Sadman's innings showcasing a patient and solid performance.

His efforts were temporarily interrupted when he faced a potential lbw decision from Agha Salman.

However, after opting for a review, the ball tracking revealed that the delivery would have missed the leg stump, allowing Sadman to continue his innings and add to his score of 57 runs before his eventual dismissal.

Mominul, following his fifty, made a promising start after the break, scoring a boundary off the first ball to reach 49 runs. He achieved his 19th career fifty with a single off Shehzad's delivery.

Unfortunately, he was unable to extend his innings further and was dismissed by Shehzad, who bowled him out, ending a valuable 94-run partnership with Sadman.

After break for tea, Bangladesh remains in a solid position, with the innings continuing to build their total against their opponents and now score 214 while last session is ongoing.
