Bangladesh beat visiting Maldives by 2-1 goals in the second match of FIFA Int'l Friendly series held at held Bashundhara Kings Sports Arena on Saturday.
In the proceeding, Ali Fasir scored for Maldives in the 23rd minute while Mojibor Rahman Jony netted for Bangladesh in the 42nd minute. Substitute Papon Singh sealed the victory for Bangladesh in the injury time of the second half.
With the day's win, Bangladesh leveled the series 1-1 following their solitary goal defeat against Maldives in the first match.
