England opts to field first, Bavuma missing

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and decided to field against South Africa in their crucial World Cup fixture at the Wankhede in Mumbai. The match started at 2.00 pm local time.

Both teams come into this match on the back of unexpected defeats. South Africa suffered defeat against the Netherlands while England, the current champions, lost against Afghanistan.

South Africa will be captained by Aiden Markram instead of Temba Bavuma, who has been ruled out of the match due to illness.
